GCI has experience working with Indigenous peoples, industry, and government in western Canada:

Clough Enercore Limited - As Indigenous Affairs and Public Mitigation Officer for the FortisBC Tilbury Truck Expansion project, Thomas has led the Clough Group in the strategic direction and now execution of Indigenous and equity programming. Through community outreach and connection, Thomas has effectively supported the relationship strategically through community development initiatives outlined at the senior level of the Canadian branch of the Clough Group, a multi-billion-dollar international EPCM.  

Kitamaat Valley Education Society / Kitimat Valley Institute - GCI was commissioned to provide an environmental scan of the organization and outline recommendations to improve the strategic direction of the society. Multiple surveys were conducted with Board members, society team members, and affiliated stakeholders in addition to the organizational information shared with GCI prior to a final report which outlined a logical and systematic approach in aligning stakeholders and organizational output. 

Nch'Kay Development Corporation - As Procurement Manager for the Squamish Nation and the Woodfibre LNG project, Thomas represents the Squamish Nation interests for all business activities related to pre-construction and FEED processes. In this role Thomas works with multiple stakeholders, including the project owner, prime contractor proponents, varying organizational departments internal to the Squamish Nation, Squamish Nation businesses, and others. Thomas was selected for this role for his attention to execution, strategic direction, cultural understanding, and efficiency in communication with the varying stakeholder groups.

St'at'imc Government ServicesGilwa Consulting Inc. (GCI) is working in collaboration with Two World’s Consulting (TWC) to develop a strategic plan for the Bridge-Seton watershed located near Lillooet for St’at’imc Government Services. The overall purpose of the plan is to align St’at’imc cultural values and history to the plans strategic direction and implementation by considering impacts on the watershed from industry and other activities. For this project, GCI is the acting Project Sponsor assisting in communication and facilitation of project deliverables and objectives in collaboration with the TWC project team and SGS Environmental.
